Draw Schedules for the Six Games

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Entertainment only. LottoGen does not sell tickets, is not a lottery, and is not affiliated with Powerball, Mega Millions, or any state lottery. You must be old enough to buy a ticket where you live. Nothing on this site improves your chance of winning. Play responsibly.

The homepage prints a next-draw line under the game title. This page is what that line is trying to summarize, including the places it can be wrong. Clock times below are the published drawing times, not the moment sales stop. Sales close earlier, and for multi-state games the cutoff depends on the state where you would buy a ticket. Confirm on the official site before you play. Figures below are as of October 28, 2026.

Powerball and Mega Millions

Both are multi-state. Powerball’s drawing is Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern, at the time of writing from the Florida draw studio. Mega Millions is Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern. A state may stop selling an hour or two before that. The homepage label shows the drawing time, not your local cutoff. If the label still says “today” and your retailer has already closed the game, you are looking at the next drawing only if you still have time where you are — and you may not.

The white-ball and special-ball pools are counted in the odds guide. Mega Millions’ Mega Ball is 1–24, not the older 1–25 pool.

Cash4Life is not on the calendar anymore

Cash4Life’s final drawing was February 21, 2026. The game had drawn seven nights a week at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. The matrix was five numbers from 1–60 plus a Cash Ball from 1–4, and the published top-prize odds were 1 in 21,846,048 (about 1 in 21.8 million), for a prize that was advertised as $1,000 a day for life. The generator still builds that shape of set, because people ask for it, and the card says the drawing is retired. It will not invent a “next” Cash4Life date.

Participating lotteries replaced it with Millionaire for Life, a different game: five numbers from 1–58 plus a Millionaire Ball from 1–5, drawn nightly at 11:15 p.m. Eastern, with a top prize advertised as $1 million a year for life. This site does not generate Millionaire for Life combinations. Do not play a Cash4Life-format set as if it were that newer ticket. Details are on the lottery sites that sell the new game, including the description at powerball.com/MILLIONAIRE-FOR-LIFE.

NY Lotto

New York Lotto draws Wednesday and Saturday at 8:15 p.m. Eastern. Ticket sales in New York close earlier, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on draw nights. The drawing takes seven numbers from a field of 59. The first six are the winning numbers. The seventh is the bonus. You do not pick the bonus, and it is not printed as one of your six. It changes the prize only when you have matched five of the six main numbers: five plus the bonus is a higher tier than five alone. Matching the bonus does not fill in a miss among the six. Two main numbers plus the bonus is still two.

Jackpot odds on one panel are 1 in 45,057,474, which is the number of ways to choose 6 out of 59. A $1 ticket is two panels, so the published overall chance of any prize on that $1 ticket is about 1 in 46. The homepage odds line is the single-panel jackpot figure. Official draw days are listed by the New York Lottery.

Pennsylvania Cash 5

“Cash 5” is a name more than one state uses, with different pools. This generator uses the Pennsylvania game, because that is the 5-of-43 matrix whose jackpot odds are 1 in 962,598. It draws every evening at 6:59 p.m. Eastern. Pennsylvania stops sales at 6:57 p.m. An older version of this site said 9:00 p.m., which was the Cash4Life clock, not this one. The Pennsylvania Lottery publishes the schedule and the prize table at palottery.pa.gov/games/cash-5. Quick Cash, an instant feature printed on Pennsylvania tickets, is separate. The generator does not produce it.

California Fantasy 5, once a day

Fantasy 5 is also a name several states use. This generator uses California’s game: five numbers from 1–39, jackpot odds 1 in 575,757. California holds the drawing once each day, after sales close at 6:30 p.m. Pacific. That is 9:30 p.m. Eastern, both in standard time and in daylight time, because the coasts stay three hours apart. Sales and validations pause from 6:30 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. Pacific. Tickets sold after the pause are for the next night.

The homepage used to say Fantasy 5 was twice daily. That was wrong for this matrix. Twice-a-day drawings on the same evening belong to other games, such as New York’s Numbers and Win 4, which are not tabs here. California’s own page is calottery.com.

How the next-draw label is computed

For every game except Cash4Life, the page reads the current time in America/New_York. If today is a draw day and the Eastern clock is still before the drawing time in the table, the label names today. Otherwise it steps forward to the next listed weekday. Cash4Life skips that logic and prints the retirement line.

The label does not know about Christmas closures, technical delays, or a state that is not selling that game. It also uses a 24-hour step when it looks ahead, which is the right weekday on ordinary dates and can be off by a day label only in the small hours of a daylight-saving change. Use it as a reminder of the weekly pattern. Use the lottery’s clock if you are about to pay.
